Money Doesn’t Come Without Guidance ...
Are you 17 and want to know if you are ready to be a backpacker? Then let us help you! You can take a gap year and pursue your life journey.
Let us clarify…a gap year is when you decide to take some time off, maybe it’s from formal education, or before beginning a new job, or just to give yourself a breather. You can do a variety of activities in your gap year. You can choose to work, go travelling, do projects in far off lands, or do work placements and internships. Gap years are a brilliant way of meeting new people and doing new and exciting things, as well as taking a break from education or work. Travelling outside of the country is a terrific opportunity for young people to learn about global nationality, community engagement, develop a deeper understanding of the world’s problems and experience a new culture.
A wide range of touring companies and volunteering programs will allow 17-year olds to sign up and explore or make a difference to the world. Taking a gap year is a great step and a big commitment. Anyone who has been on one will have quickly realised that it is nothing like a normal holiday. It becomes your life, and there is a lot to take in and learn. There are some restrictions you should follow when your age is under 18. If you want to try white water rafting, bungee jumping or skydiving, you may need a written letter from your parents giving their consent. This can be written before you leave or you can ask them to fax.
